A large automobile manufacturer required a smarter, more efficient approach to a complex Private Cloud and Next Generation Data Center migration. Tasked with reducing the amount of overall applications, assessing applications for proper “Landing Zones”, and figuring out which applications to further develop for Next Gen facility created additional complexityand increased risks.

The Challenge
A large pharmaceutical needed a means to retire applications and respond to regulatory pressure with greater efficiency.
The Solution
Using our methodologies and tools in IONization ™ and IONize IT ™, we used a multi-pronged approach that addressed people, process and technology and the relationships between them. We were able to make significant changes while staying within budget and time frame parameters using data they already had in existing, but more cumbersome, systems and formats.

Scale Computing HC3
The Challenge
A national law firm with with a focus on many areas of complex civil litigation needed aninfrastructure refresh. The firm was looking for a next generation, software-defined datacenter, and wanted to centralize and simplify their multiple SAN and multiple serverenvironment to support business growth expectations and hybrid cloud initiatives.Desired outcomes included reduced IT capital spending and operational costs.
The Solution
We assessed the firm’s existing technology, people, processes, and business needs and recommended a hyperconvereged (HC3) solution, midmarket. The HC3 solution integrates the hypervisor, requires no virtualization software to license, and no external storage. The firm’s infrastructure could be dramatically simplified while keeping applications running reliably with high data availability. Every virtual machine created on an HC3 system is automatically set for high availability, so even in the event of hardware failure, the VMs will failover to the remaining nodes in the cluster. There is built-in replication to a secondary site that is home for another cluster for the firm’s disaster recovery requirements. The single management and invisible automation makes the deployment and management of the entire environment remarkably easier to manage than the firm’s prior infrastructure.
